2 c. sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. peanut butter
3 scant c. quick cooking oatmeal
6 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring sugar, butter and milk to rolling boil. Boil for 1 full minute. Remove from stove an beat in peanut butter, oatmeal, cocoa and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper to cool thoroughly. If you find yourself at Catalina and you've run out of cookies, try this. You don't even need to use an oven!
