CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM DESSERT 
Combine 1 stick butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring to brown.

CHOCOLATE LAYER:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 sq. chocolate
3 egg yolks, beaten
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar, butter and melted chocolate. Add vanilla and nuts. Add egg yolks; fold in egg whites.

Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with the crumbled crust. Spread chocolate mixture on crust. Spread 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream over chocolate (softened enough to spread). Freeze. Cut into squares. Serves 12-15.
