ALMOND NUT BALLS | |
1 c. regular or sweet unsalted butter 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. blanched almonds, ground 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. lemon extract 1/4 tsp. almond extract 2 c. all purpose flour Cream butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in almonds, vanilla, lemon and almond extracts until well blended. Stir in flour until well mixed. Shape mixture into 1" balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees until very lightly browned, about 18 minutes. Remove from sheets and cool on wire racks. Makes 4 dozen. |
