BLACK BOTTOM CHEESECAKE 
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 stick butter (1/4 c.)

FILLING:

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Sm. pkg. chocolate bits
1/2 c. sugar

Mix 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 half stick butter; press into 9-inch spring-form pan. In large mixing bowl beat 2 packages cream cheese with 3/4 cup sugar. Then beat in eggs, one at a time, followed by 1/2 cup sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour 1/2 of batter into smaller bowl. Into 1/2 of batter stir a small bag chocolate chips that have been melted in the top of a double boiler with a 1/2 cup sugar and slightly cooled. When blended, pour chocolate batter into crust - then the plain on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.
