MEAT ROLLS (ROULADEN GERMAN
DISH)
 
Beef (1 slice per person)
Bacon
Spiced mustard
Salt and pepper
Spiced pickle
Bay leaf
Rosemary
Garlic clove
Mushrooms
Onion

Have butcher slice beef 1/2 inch thick, 4 inches across and 8 inches long on machine so it is nice and even. Take sliced meat, spread spiced mustard, salt, pepper on it. Place bacon slices on each section of meat vertically, add diced onion, spiced pickle and roll the meat up and wrap several times with white thread and toothpick to hold meat together.
