SPICY TOMATO DUMPLINGS | |
2 cans (16 oz. each) stewed tomatoes 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped 1/4 c. onion, chopped 1/2 tsp. basil 2 c. water or 2 c. chicken broth 1 1/2 c. flour Enough water to mix well In a large saucepan, combine tomatoes, pepper, onion and water, bring to boil. Add basil and simmer 25 minutes. Mix flour and enough water to make soft dough. Add to pot and simmer until dough is cooked, stir well. Serve hot. Serves 4 to 6. |
