SHOO FLY PIE 
9 inch pie plate lined with raw dough
1 c. flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of ginger
1/3 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. molasses
Pinch of cinnamon

Make high rim on crust. Mix flour, sugar and butter together with fork until crumbly. Add water to molasses, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon; beat until foamy. Pour molasses mixture into pie shell and then add crumbly mixture and press down into molasses, leaving some on top. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees until bubbly and brown.
