CUSHAW PIE | |
2/3 c. white sugar 1/3 c. brown sugar 2 c. cooked cushaw 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 3 eggs 2 c. milk, scalded 3 tbsp. butter Add sugar, salt and spices to cushaw. Add lightly beat eggs, then milk and butter. Pour into uncooked pie shell. Bake 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and continue baking until a toothpick comes out clean. |
