SZEGEDINER (Hungarian Pork) 
6 thick sliced pork chops (or country ribs or pork steaks)
1 lg. can sauerkraut (do not drain)
2 apples, cored and cut sm. or 1 me. can applesauce
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped coarse
2 med. onions, sliced
3/4 tsp. caraway seeds
Pepper

Brown pork and place in baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Bake covered 1 1/2 hours in 350 degree oven.

Pork loin roast can be substituted. Adjust cooking time accordingly.
