CRUSHED POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening or butter
1 egg, beaten
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
3/4 c. crushed potato chops
3/4 c. nuts

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into small balls. Flatten with fork dipped in flour. Bake until brown at 350 degrees. 4 dozen.
