KAHLUA LIQUEUR 
1/4 c. instant coffee
4 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 vanilla bean
1 pt. unflavored brandy

Dissolve coffee and sugar in boiling water. Add brandy. Divide vanilla bean in two. Put 1/2 into 2 bottles with 1/2 the liquid in each bottle. Age for 30 days and enjoy.
