NOVA SCOTIA BANNOCK BREAD | |
1 c. whole wheat flour 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. white flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. bran (not all-bran) 1/2 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. baking powder Mix above well and then add enough water to make a sticky porridge consistency. Bake in a flat pan 20 minutes at 350. A coarse heavy bread. |
