1 pkg. (8 oz.) Pa. Dutch brand Kluski egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. shredded American cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Brown meat with onion, stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, and garlic powder. In 2 quart casserole, combine noodles and meat mixture, and cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
