BEEF BEAN AND NOODLE SKILLET | |
1 lb. lean ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 c. diced celery 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. dried basil 2 c. uncooked med. noodles 1 can stewed tomatoes 1 can kidney beans, undrained 1/2 to 3/4 c. water 1 beef bouillon cube Brown and drain beef in large skillet or soup pan. Add onion, green pepper and celery. Saute 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and basil. Stir in noodles, tomatoes, beans, water and bouillon cube. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes. |
