OVEN FRENCH TOAST 
6 well beaten eggs
1/3 c. orange juice (fresh)
1 tbsp. orange peel
1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
12 slices French bread
1/4 c. butter

Put 1/4 cup butter on a cookie sheet. Place in oven (450 degrees). When melted, dip bread in egg mixture on both sides and place on cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes. Turn and bake 5 minutes more. Serve with syrup and more butter, if desired.
