PUMPKIN-NUT BREAD 
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. raisins
2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1/3 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. orange peel, grated
2 tbsp. molasses

Sift flour, salt, soda and spices. Beat eggs; add sugar, pumpkin, butter and orange peel. Beat until mixture is well blended. Add nuts and raisins.

Turn into a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan or loaf pans and bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

May frost with favorite powdered sugar frosting or spread with cream cheese on each slice.
