PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 
1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
1 c. chopped walnuts

(Optional - may also substitute chopped dates or pecans).

Sift the dry ingredients together. Mix the salad oil, water, pumpkin, and eggs together at low speed. Add to dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in the nuts or dates. Bake in greased loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
