DARLENE'S PUMPKIN NUT BREAD | |
3 c. sugar 1 c. salad oil 4 eggs 2 c. cooked pumpkin 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 c. chopped nuts Mix the sugar and oil together; add eggs and beat well. Stir in pumpkin. Sift all dry ingredients and dissolve the soda in water. Add dry ingredients alternately with soda mixture to the egg mixture, beating well after each addition. Add nuts. Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans or muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees until done. |
