BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE 
1 c. elbow macaroni
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Melt butter, add flour and salt. Add milk and heat on low until mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Remove from heat. Add cheese and stir until it melts.

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Add cheese sauce to macaroni and pour into greased 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle top of casserole with bread crumbs and tiny chunks of butter (optional). Bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
