CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 tbsp. butter
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

CAKE:

1 Pillsbury devils food cake
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract

In mixing bowl, stir together all cake ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured 9"x13"x2" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, in saucepan, mix sugar, milk and butter. Bring to a boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Pour over hot cake. Frosting will harden as it cools.
