VELMA'S COCONUT CAKE 
3 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs (one at a time)
1 c. sour cream
3 c. cake flour
2 tsp. coconut flavoring

Cream butter, add sugar slowly; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add sifted cake flour slowly. Add sour cream and flavoring. Bake in tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 stick butter
4 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 can coconut

Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, a little at a time; cream; add flavoring and cream. Spread on cake and then dab on coconut, as much as you like.
