CHINESE HOT AND SOUR SOUP | |
1 can chicken broth 2 soup cans water 1 small can sliced mushrooms (undrained) 2 tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp. water 2 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. white vinegar 1/2 tsp. hot sauce or more to taste 1 egg, beaten 2 green onions (white and green part), chopped Combine all ingredients except egg and green onions. Bring to the boil over high heat until slightly thickened. Gradually pour in the egg, stirring constantly in one direction. Remove from heat; stir in green onions. Garnish with additional onions as desired. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
