THREE LAYER DESSERT 
1 yellow cake mix
1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
Finely chopped nuts
Coconut

Prepare cake mix according to directions; pour about half of batter into 9"x13" cake pan and bake until done, about 10 to 15 minutes. Remainder of batter can be used for cupcakes, etc. Cool cake. Make pudding according to directions, except use only 1 1/2 cups milk and add softened cream cheese; beat pudding and cheese well. Spread on top of cooled cake. Sprinkle well drained pineapple over top of pudding mixture. Spread Cool Whip over top of pineapple and garnish top of Cool Whip with nuts and coconut.
