SOUTHERN STRAWBERRY PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. water
3 tbsp. strawberry gelatin
1 qt. whole strawberries
1 baked 9 inch pie shell

Combine sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook until clear and thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in gelatin until dissolved; cool. Arrange strawberries in pie shell. Pour gelatin mixture over berries. Chill until firm. Yield 6 servings.
