CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE 
1 whole chicken
1 pkg. dry onion soup
3/4 cup regular rice (dry)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can water (use empty soup can)

Cut chicken in pieces. Put 1 package of dry onion soup in bottom of casserole dish. Add dry rice and layer of chicken pieces. Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 can of water; pour over chicken. Cover and bake at 325°F to 350°F for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.
