CHICKEN OR TURKEY WILD RICE
CASSEROLE
 
Leftover chicken or turkey (3 or 4 lb. cooked fowl)
1 pkg. UNCLE BEN'S® long grain and wild rice
1 large onion chopped
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cans chicken stock or 2 cans milk
3/4 lb. sharp cheese grated
Paprika

Cook rice as per directions. Saute onion in butter until soft. Stir in flour, soup and stock or milk. In a casserole, layer sauce, rice, chicken, cheese, sauce, rice, chicken, sauce, and cheese. Top with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 10 to 12. This is great for using up Thanksgiving turkey!
