AUNT LAUREL'S SPICE CAKE 
4 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter and 1/2 c. sour milk or 1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. hot water

Cream together eggs and sugar. Add butter and milk or sour cream. Combine flour and spices and add to batter. Add water. Pour into 9x13 inch pan. Bake until center springs back about 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.

Frost with cream cheese frosting or brown sugar frosting.
