RON'S PECAN PIE 
CRUST:

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. shortening
Dash of salt

Mix with fork until crumbly. Add 8 tablespoons cold water - mix thoroughly; roll out on a floured board - place into greased, floured pie tin.

FILLING:

1 c. Karo white syrup
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. pecans (whole)

Mix sugar and syrup well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well; pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
