ORANGE JELLO SALAD 
1 lg. pkg. orange Jello
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 sm. carton Cool Whip

Bring sugar and pineapple to a boil. Add Jello. Stir until dissolved, then add cold water. Let partially set. Add cheese, nuts and Cool Whip. Stir well. Chill until ready to serve.
