GROUND CHERRY PIE 
Pastry for 2-crust pie
3 c. ground cherries
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind

Spoon into pie crust; dot with butter. Cover with second crust. Bake at 400 degrees for first 4 minutes, then bake at 350 degrees 40-50 minutes or until crust is done.
