TACO CASSEROLE 
1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. chunky salsa
1 (8 oz.) can crescent dinner rolls
1 1/2 c. crushed taco chips
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
6-8 slices American cheese

Brown meat; drain well. Mix with the taco mix, water and salsa; simmer for 5 minutes. Press the crescent roll dough on bottom and sides of a 10" pie plate or 8"x8" square pan to form a crust; press seams together. Bake according to directions on can. Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed taco chips on the crust; top with meat mixture. Spread sour cream over the meat; add cheese slices to cover. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of chips on top. Serve with chopped lettuce, tomato, olives and taco sauce. Serves 6.
