MARTHA WASHINGTON BALLS 
1/4 lb. butter
2 lb. powdered sugar
1 qt. finely chopped pecans
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 can coconut

Melt butter, add Eagle Brand milk, powdered sugar, coconut and pecans. Mix all together. Roll into desired shapes. Candied cherries can be put in center if desired. Let balls stand about 30 minutes before coating with the following mixture.

Melt in double boiler:

2 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate candy
1 bar (1/2 lb.) paraffin

Use ice pick or toothpick to dip the balls. Hold them for a second to harden. Set on wax paper to cool.
