APPLE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/3 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 med. to lg. apples
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour

Cut the apples in thin slices. Sift flour and dry ingredients and set aside. Add the ingredients in order given. Mix with spoon until blended. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes in 9 inch square pan. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
