DATE BALLS 
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Combine butter, sugar, dates and coconut in one pot and boil for 3 minutes. Add pecans and Rice Krispies. Remove from heat and then add the pecans and Rice Krispies. Let cool slightly, enough to handle. Roll into small balls then coat with powdered sugar.
