CREAM STYLE CORN 
1 dozen med. ears sweet corn
3/4 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. bacon drippings

Cut corn off cobs. Cook in heavy saucepan with other ingredients over low heat for 15 minutes. Stir often to make sure corn does not stick to pan. Stir in 1 cup of milk thickened with 2 tablespoons of flour. Let simmer for a few minutes.
