BUTTERNUT NUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch salt
5 eggs
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring
1 1/2 c. milk

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and blend well after each. Sift together dry ingredients and add milk alternately add flavoring. Pour batter in greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 or 30 minutes. 10 inch tube pan.

ICING:

1/2 stick butter
1 sm. bar cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. pecans
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring
