APPLE PIE - IN-A-PAPER-BAG 
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
2 1/2 lbs. good baking apples
3/4 c. sugar (for filling)
2 tbsp. flour (for filling)
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar (for topping)
1/2 c. flour (for topping)
1/4 c. butter

Peel the apples and slice thin or into chunks, about 7 cups. Place in large bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Add to apples and mix well. Pour into shell and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour and the butter. Work into crumbs and sprinkle over apples. Slide pie into heavy brown paper bag, large enough to cover pie, and fasten with paper clips. Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Bag will not catch on fire.
