BROWN PAPER BAG APPLE PIE 
1 unbaked pie shell (9 inch)
4 to 6 lg. apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. apple pie spice

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Pare apples, core and slice. Mix sugar, flour and spices until well coated. Fill the pie shell. Mix topping and spread over apples. Place pie in a brown paper bag and seal with staples, paper clips or pins. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour on a cookie sheet. Be careful opening the paper bag because of the steam.
