1 box chocolate cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix (no need to use mixer - just stir until ingredients are moist) and spread in a 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

This cake is good without frosting (especially with Blue Bell Ice Cream), but delicious with the following frosting: 1 c. granulated sugar 5 tbsp. butter 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Boil for 1 minute. Take off heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until melted and spread over cake.
