MOCK BLACK FOREST CAKE 
CAKE:

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 eggs
5 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all ingredients together for 2 minutes. Batter will be thin. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan or 9-inch layer pans at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Chill.

FROSTING:

1 (4 serving) pkg. vanilla jello instant pudding
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. cold milk
8 oz. Cool Whip

Mix pudding, sugar, and milk together. Fold in Cool Whip. Frost sides and layers of cake (9 x 13 can be cut into layers). Make well on top with frosting. Fill with cherry or blueberry pie filling.
