POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Combine above. Beat two minutes. Pour in two greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour. Glaze while hot.

If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder and salt.

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice (lemon juice can be substituted)
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
