CARAMEL CORN, OVEN BAKES 
6 qts. popped corn
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark syrup
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Boil sugar, syrup, butter, and cream of tartar for five minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Mix the syrup with popcorn very quickly spread on two greased cookie sheets. Bake at 200 degrees one hour, stirring several times. Store in air-tight container.
