LOUISIANNA GUMBO 
1 chicken
1 lb. Polish sausage
1 can okra
1 sm. onion
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. flour
Cooked rice

Boil chicken and onion until done. make a roux (a thin paste) of butter and flour. Debone chicken and cut sausage in chunks or slices. Add both to roux. Add okra. Cook until well mixed and okra is hot. Serve gumbo over cooked rice.
