1 whole chicken, boiled and deboned chicken (save broth) 1 bunch green onions 2 tbsp. mustard 1 tbsp. flour 2 sm. cans tomato sauce 2 cans Rotel 2 cans stewed tomatoes (cajun style) 1 box frozen okra 1 pkg. smoked sausage Cajun seasoning or 1 pkg. gumbo seasoning mix Cook chicken with 6 to 8 cups chicken broth. Add green onions and cook until tender. In small amount of broth mix mustard and flour until smooth. Stir into rest of broth. Add all other ingredients and simmer until hot and tasty. |
