1 c. sugar
1/4 c. fat
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves (ground)
2 c. diced apples
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in usual manner. Bake in 8 x 12 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. If apples are rome or one that will cook up it will make cake more moist.
