1 c. oil
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix together in mixer. Then mix 1 cup nuts and 1 cup prunes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. syrup
Dash of salt
1/2 c. buttermilk

Boil and pour over cake with holes poked in it.
