PEANUT BUTTER CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. oil
2 eggs
4 c. flour
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, shortening and oil, and add eggs and vanilla. Mix well and add remaining ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until slightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes.

VARIATION: May substitute chocolate chips or butterscotch chips. All are good.
