BOIL NO BOIL CHICKEN | |
2 (3 lb.) chickens (cleaned and parts removed) 1 lg. pot (big enough to hold enough water to cover chickens) 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. basil leaves 1/2 tsp. minced garlic 1/4 c. minced onion 1/2 tsp. pepper Fill pot with enough water to cover chickens when put in pot and add all seasonings to water. Bring water to hard boil. Add chickens to hard boiling water. Leave for two minutes, then remove. Bring water back to hard boil, put chickens back in pot. Bring back to hard boil again, cover with lid turn heat off, and leave sit for 1 hour 15 minutes. Don't remove lid until total time is up. Remove from pot and let cool until chicken can be handled. Remove skin, fat and bones by hand. You'll be amazed just how easy it will be. Now you have chicken ready for all your dishes and salads. |
