1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed banana
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 10 minutes. Yield: 50 cookies.
