CHEESECAKE BARS 
5 tbsp. butter, softened
1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/4-1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4-1/2 tsp. vanilla

Crust: Cream butter and sugar together well. Add flour, walnuts. Mix until crumbs form. Save 1 cup for topping. Press the rest into 8-inch square cake pan and bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool.

Filling: Combine sugar and cream cheese. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour evenly over crust. Cover with reserved crumb topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. When cool, cut into bars.
